Job Description

Our company provides mechanical and electrical building consultant services throughout Western Canada specializing in the design of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, lighting, power distribution and fire alarm systems in multi-family residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare and institutional projects.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare building drawings to suit client needs.
- Participate in design meetings - meet with clients and project teams to discuss design strategies, review drawings and coordination between disciplines.
- Provide support services during construction including site inspections & testing services.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of industry innovation and leading edge building design methods through seminars and conferences.
- Assist with the estimation of time, effort and resource requirements for new projects and responses to RFPs.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate would have:

- A Mechanical or Electrical Technologist Diploma.




- Ability to communicate effectively with project team members and effectively manage projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven work environment.
- Experience with multi-family Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Institutional buildings.
- In depth knowledge of current building codes.
- Understanding of building mechanical systems, building envelope and electrical systems.
- Proficient skills in AutoCad and Revit.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
