We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our mechanical team. This position offers hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance, providing a valuable stepping stone for individuals interested in developing a career as a professional mechanic. The role is ideal for those with a passion for vehicle technology, mechanical systems, and customer service. Candidates will gain exposure to various repair techniques, diagnostic procedures, and industry-standard tools in a supportive environment.

We are registered to sponsor for both 310S and 310T licensing.

$1000.00 signing bonus after 3 months.

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake replacements, and alignments.
- Diagnose & troubleshoot customer concerns, always putting the customer and their safety first.
- Use pneumatic and manual tools to disassemble and assemble vehicle components.
- Use mig-welding equipment to replace/repair exhausts and other parts.
- Support the repair and/or replacement of engines, transmissions, full suspensions, and electrical components.
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting and working with heavy machinery.




- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Learn to use software to explore vehicle diagrams helping to assist in repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair status and recommendations when appropriate.

Requirements

- Previous experience or mechanic experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- A clean driving record, able to be added to insurance policies.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive repair processes.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, and assembly is an asset.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions accurately.
- Knowledge of schematics, maintenance procedures, and automotive systems is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$26.00 per hour
