Registered / Provisional Psychologist | Calgary | September/October 2026 Start

One Life Counselling & Coaching is looking for a Registered or Provisional Psychologist to join our NW Calgary practice.

We've worked hard to create a place where therapists can do meaningful clinical work, build a thriving caseload, feel genuinely connected to their colleagues, and have the support they need without managing all the business pieces of private practice themselves.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with at least one of the following client populations: adults, couples or children. You don't need to work with all of them. We're interested in finding a great therapist who can bring their own clinical interests and strengths to our team.

We're especially interested in someone who would like to bring or develop a specialty in at least ONE of the following areas:

- Addictions
- ADHD
- Autism
- Children
- Assessments
- Menopause and women's midlife mental health

You don't need to specialize in all of these areas. If one is work you already love, or an area you'd genuinely like to grow into, we'd love to hear from you.

Private practice offers a lot of independence, but it can also be isolating.



We've intentionally built a small team so everyone can flourish.

Our team comes together for monthly peer consultations and clinical discussions, lunches, social gatherings, team-building activities and our annual year-end celebration. It's an opportunity to learn from one another, talk through challenging cases and genuinely get to know the people you work alongside.

You can have the independence of private practice without having to practice alone.

We also schedule 15-minute breaks between every client so you have time to finish a note, refill your coffee, connect with a colleague or simply reset before your next session.

Different therapeutic orientations are welcome, and we especially appreciate clinicians who work from an integrative approach.

For this position, we're looking for someone who can consistently offer approximately:

2 daytime shifts (Mon & Tue 9am-3pm) + 2 evening shifts (Wed & Thur 3:30-9pm) + 1 weekend shift (Sunday 6 hour shift)

Ideally, you're interested in building a consistent caseload with approximately 20–25 available client hours per week..

What you'll need

- Registered, provisionally registered,



or approaching registration as a Psychologist in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists
- $2-5 million professional liability insurance
- Clear criminal record check
- Reliable and responsive communication

Provisional Psychologists are very welcome to apply. We're happy to discuss supervision requirements and arrangements as part of the application process.

Private practice experience is an asset, but isn't required for the right person.
