We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our client's production team in KWC region

Shift - Night

Pay - $24 $30 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate transfer presses in accordance with work instructions and production schedules.

- Load coils or blanks into press equipment and monitor production runs.

- Ensure proper transfer of materials through press operations, adjusting feeds and tooling as necessary.

- Perform die changeovers, setups, and minor adjustments to maintain production flow.

- Inspect parts for quality, using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

- Monitor press performance and troubleshoot mechanical or quality issues.

- Maintain accurate production records, including counts, downtime, and inspection results.

- Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions immediately.





- Work collaboratively with maintenance and tool room staff to resolve equipment and tooling issues.

- Participate in continuous improvement activities to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or apprenticeship preferred).

- Experience operating transfer presses in a manufacturing or metal stamping environment.

- Knowledge of press setup, tooling, and maintenance procedures.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, production orders, and quality standards.

- Robust mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

- Basic math skills and ability to use precision measuring instruments.

- Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
