Full-Time Security Officer – Rosedale, BC (Near Chilliwack)

Heathrow Security Ltd. is currently hiring a reliable and professional Full-Time Security Officer for a site located in Rosedale, BC, near Chilliwack.

Candidates living in Rosedale, Chilliwack, Agassiz, Abbotsford, or surrounding areas are preferred.

Important: A valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle are required for this position due to the site location.

Job Responsibilities

- Conduct regular foot patrols of the assigned site.
- Patrol the site perimeter, construction areas, parking areas, and designated checkpoints.
- Check storage containers, trailers, gates, fences, and access points to ensure they are properly secured.
- Monitor the property for trespassing, theft, vandalism, or suspicious activity.
- Maintain a visible security presence throughout the shift.
- Identify and report damaged fences, open gates, unsecured containers, safety hazards, and other security concerns.
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
- Complete hourly/scheduled security checkpoints.
- Prepare accurate Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports.
- Immediately communicate significant security concerns to the supervisor or management.
- Follow all site-specific post orders and Heathrow Security procedures.

Requirements

- Valid BC Security Worker Licence – Required
- Valid Driver’s Licence – Required
- Reliable Personal Vehicle – Required




- Minimum 1 year of security experience preferred
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable conducting regular foot patrols throughout the shift.
- Strong observation and communication skills.
- Able to write explicit and professional security reports.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Comfortable working evening and/or overnight shifts.
- Construction site security experience is considered an asset.

- Live in Rosedale, Chilliwack, Agassiz, or surrounding areas
- Have previous construction or static site security experience
- Have reliable personal transportation
- Have flexible/full-time availability
- Have a strong attendance and reliability record
