Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Telehandler Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a versatile telehandler machine to efficiently move, lift, and place materials across various construction sites. Your expertise will help ensure smooth project workflows, safety, and productivity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment and contribute to large-scale building projects in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Operate telehandlers safely and efficiently to lift, move, and position construction materials, equipment, and supplies (jib attachment experience a MUST)
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of the telehandler to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Coordinate with site managers and other equipment operators to plan material deliveries and placements
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks using the telehandler or other heavy machinery such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, or cranes when needed
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance needs
- Follow all safety protocols and site regulations to prevent accidents or injuries on site
- Support other heavy equipment operations including dozer,



loader operation, backhoe operation, or excavator tasks as required

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as telehandlers, dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, or cranes in a construction setting
- Mechanical knowledge of construction equipment and farm machinery is highly desirable
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment between sites
- Familiarity with Caterpillar or similar heavy equipment brands is a plus
- Ability to perform basic maintenance checks and troubleshoot mechanical issues on heavy machinery
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites
- Construction experience with knowledge of site protocols and coordination processes
