Duties

- Engage with customers to understand their renovation needs and recommend suitable paint products and supplies
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed explanations of finishes, textures, and application techniques
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately, including cash handling and receipts
- Upsell complementary products such as brushes, primers, and specialty coatings to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage inside sales by following up on customer inquiries and nurturing account relationships for repeat business
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring product availability
- Collaborate with team members on marketing initiatives to promote new products or seasonal promotions




- Maintain organizational skills to keep the sales floor tidy and ensure all safety standards are met during renovations or construction-related activities

Qualifications

- Proven experience in retail sales, outside sales, or inside sales within the home improvement or construction industry preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Knowledge of renovation processes, construction materials, but is not a must, we are willing to train.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for accurate transactions
- Excellent organizational skills to manage product displays and inventory levels effectively
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to negotiate confidently and upsell effectively
- Experience with merchandising strategies and marketing techniques to attract customers and boost sales
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
