J&F; Distributors is seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service.

Duties:

- Operate Class 1 vehicles to transport goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is properly secured and handled with care.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe and operational condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and mileage.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage delivery schedules and routes to optimize efficiency.
- Handle paperwork associated with deliveries, including bills of lading, manifests, and delivery receipts.
- Provide exceptional customer service, representing Copperside Foods professionally.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report any issues or required repairs promptly.

Qualifications:





- Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a Class 1 driver, with a robust understanding of safety regulations and driving protocols.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional roadways and routes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- High level of attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including loading and unloading cargo.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
