Summary

Join our team as an Inventory Specialist at Standard Auto Wreckers in our Port Hope location. In this role, you will be vital in managing inventory processes and supporting our eco-friendly auto salvage operations. You will be responsible for the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines. With the company provided tools, the Inventory Specialist will document vehicle condition within company standards which includes a complete inventory and supporting photographs of each vehicle.

Responsibilities

- Operate camera and utilize handheld inventory devices to process incoming vehicles
- Determine operational capability of motor vehicles
- Complete vehicle inspection inventories on all vehicles & ensure vehicle arrives complete from Auction




- Comply to policies and procedures
- Comply to all safety requirements
- Perform other duties, projects, etc. as requested by management
- Prioritize activities based on schedule

Required Skills and Experience

- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
- General Automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude preferred
- Computer proficient, with the ability to operate handheld devices preferred
- Robust attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment
- Driver's license preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
