We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused, and experienced Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our Liquor Store. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will play a key role in leading the team, maintaining operational excellence, driving sales, and creating an exceptional customer experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with liquor retail experience who enjoys developing people, taking ownership, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

What You'll Do

- Assist the Store Manager with the daily operation of the store.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to team members.
- Assist with employee recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and performance management.
- Ensure merchandising, displays, and store standards are consistently maintained.
- Promote a positive customer experience through excellent service and product knowledge.
- Support inventory management and supplier relationships.
- Assist with scheduling, reporting, record keeping, and other administrative responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Delegate tasks effectively and hold team members accountable for results.
- Lead by example through professionalism, integrity, teamwork,



and a strong commitment to safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

- Previous supervisory or management experience in a retail environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience within the liquor industry.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Experience with scheduling, budgeting, inventory control, and general administration.
- Sales and customer service experience.
- A valid Serving It Right certificate.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced workplace and lift up to 50 lbs.
