Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight over designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and other critical systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and freight movement logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep trucks in optimal condition.




- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe driving practices at all times.

Experience

- Proven experience operating heavy-duty commercial vehicles, preferably with a valid Class 1 driver’s license.
- Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and logistics operations.
- Familiarity with automotive repair basics to perform routine vehicle maintenance or troubleshoot issues.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation.

Pay: $33.00-$45.00 per hour
