Job OverviewRobin College is seeking a qualified Adult Education Curriculum Specialist to support the final regulatory review and submission of our Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) post-secondary curriculum to the Government of Alberta. This is a short-term, project-based contract focused on verifying developer credentials, auditing curriculum mapping, and signing off on the required ministry qualification documentation (AED14896 Form).
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate post-secondary ELCC curriculum modules to ensure full alignment with Alberta post-secondary adult education standards.
- Complete and verify curriculum developer qualification documentation, including detailed qualified mapping of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies.
- Collaborate with our internal ELCC Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
to finalize submission packages for ministry compliance.
Mandatory Qualifications (Strict Ministry Criteria)To comply with Government of Alberta regulatory guidelines, applicants MUST meet both requirements below:
- Education: Master’s Degree or higher specifically in Adult Education, Curriculum Studies, Instructional Design, or a directly related post-secondary adult learning field. (Note: Master of Education degrees focused on K–12 schooling, youth education, or educational leadership do NOT meet ministry criteria).
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of documented full-time experience (or equivalent 4,680+ cumulative hours) dedicated specifically to adult education curriculum development and instructional design.
