Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate excels in functional assessment, treatment planning, and patient‑centred care within a clinical rehabilitation setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive functional assessments addressing physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving daily living, work, and leisure activities
- Provide therapeutic interventions including functional training, cognitive strategies, ergonomic recommendations, and adaptive techniques
- Recommend and train patients in the use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, massage therapists, and administrative staff to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate, insurer‑ready clinical documentation, progress notes,



and discharge summaries
- Support return‑to‑work programs, job‑site assessments, and graded activity planning
- Educate patients and families on strategies to enhance independence and safety
- Uphold all professional standards set by the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)

Qualifications

- Registered and in good standing with COTO
- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with MVA, WSIB, ADP, or community‑based rehab is an asset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
