Wildwood Tree Services Limited is seeking an experienced Arborist / Tree Climber to join our growing team in Oakville, Ontario. We are looking for a motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years of professional arboriculture experience who can safely perform tree pruning, removals, rigging operations, and aerial tree work while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

Responsibilities

- Perform tree pruning, removals, and maintenance according to industry standards
- Climb trees using rope and saddle techniques
- Operate chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other tree care equipment
- Set up and execute rigging systems safely and efficiently
- Assist with crane-assisted tree removals
- Conduct job site hazard assessments and maintain safe work practices
- Communicate effectively with crew members and customers
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment

Qualifications Required

- Minimum 3 years of professional arborist/tree climbing experience
- Valid Ontario G Class Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
- Strong climbing and rigging skills




- Ability to work safely at heights
- Physically fit and capable of performing demanding outdoor work
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Preferred

- ISA Certified Arborist
- DZ Licence
- Experience operating aerial lifts, loaders, mini skids, or cranes
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- Utility or municipal tree work experience
