Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Foreman (concrete construction/ finishing foreman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, with hands-on experience in formsetting/concrete work. This role requires a commitment to quality control and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. The Concrete Foreman will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed on time and meet the highest standards of quality.

Duties

- Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various construction projects. (Set footings/forms)
- Ability to operate lasers
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment related to concrete work.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective workflow on job sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Support project supervisors in managing tasks and timelines.
- Assist with training and mentoring field personnel and apprentices

Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years Experience in formsetting as a Concrete foreman




- Journeyman carpenter certified
- Experience with Peri, Duraform, and conventional forming systems considered an asset
- Monitor productivity, quality, compliance with drawings and building codes;
- Proven experience in construction, particularly with concrete work.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, complex formwork, rebar placement and finishing techniques.
- Experience in supervising teams or projects is a must.
- Knowledge of quality control processes within the construction industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Valid Drivers License/Vehicle

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $48.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
