Unio Tech Solutions offers a full range of IT services and special projects for medium and large sized companies throughout Canada and the USA. We are looking for enthusiastic and hard working individuals to take on the role of IT Project Supervisor & Driver within our company.
JOB OVERVIEW:
The IT Support Tech Supervisor at Unio Tech Solutions plays a critical leadership role in overseeing on-site technology deployments, corporate relocations, and infrastructure projects across client locations. This hands-on position combines technical expertise with team supervision, ensuring that IT Technicians and subcontractors are equipped, organized, and executing work to the highest standards.
Acting as the primary onsite liaison for clients and stakeholders, the Supervisor coordinates the job schedules, maintains project momentum, and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures. In addition to delivering high-quality technical outcomes—from workstation setups and AV installations to network hardware deployments and structured cabling—the IT Support Tech Supervisor plays a key role in continuous improvement by keeping the Project Manager and company leadership informed of what is working well in the field and where opportunities for improvement exist.
Hours will vary from week-to-week (with the possibility of some full-time hours).
All work is done directly at client offices. We work with clients such as Uber, Sun Life Financial, Sephora, Allstate Insurance, Scotiabank, Walmart, Manulife and many other Fortune 500 companies.
The purpose of this role is to control the efficiency of the techs working on site while making sure that quality of work is high and the client is happy with the end result.
Who is our ideal candidate?
You have technical competence in the majority of our services. Your leadership abilities are equal or stronger than your technical abilities. You can be firm when necessary, but also supportive when someone is struggling. You enjoy mentoring less experienced staff to help them grow in their job. You have a high awareness of things going on around you, so you can spot issues quickly and identify problems before they happen.
You are able to stay calm in a challenging situation and be solutions-oriented (we don’t like complainers). You thrive in a fast-paced environment and you easily think on your feet. You are ethical and have a high level of integrity. You are super organized and have excellent written communication skills.
**You must be able to easily get to our Markham office to be considered for this position.
