Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items following established recipes and presentation standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing orders and payments while handling cash and card transactions securely
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking their orders promptly, and addressing any questions or concerns with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including food preparation areas and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards
- Manage food handling responsibilities responsibly, ensuring proper storage, sanitation, and food safety compliance




- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks during busy periods
- Effectively manage time to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours without compromising quality or service

Skills

- Proven experience as a barista or in the food service industry with strong knowledge of coffee brewing and beverage crafting techniques
- Prior cashiering experience using POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced workplace
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and processing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail in all duties
