Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropodist to join our healthcare team, providing expert foot and ankle care to diverse patient populations. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through personalized treatment plans. Your expertise will contribute to improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing overall quality of life for our patients. Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ foot and ankle health, utilizing medical terminology and clinical expertise.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for various conditions, including acute injuries, chronic pain, and pediatric foot issues.
- Administer medications and perform minor procedures as needed, adhering to best practices in pain management and patient safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, utilizing electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Collect and analyze data related to patient progress,



documenting findings accurately in medical records.
- Provide education to patients and their families about foot health, injury prevention, and home care strategies.
- Assist with research initiatives aimed at advancing podiatric practices and improving patient outcomes.

Qualifications

- Proven experience working in a hospital or clinical setting with a focus on podiatry or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care protocols.
- Experience in acute care environments, including pain management and pediatrics.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner is preferred.
- Prior experience in medical office settings involving data collection and documentation is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on treatment plans and home care routines.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of patient care.
