We are hiring for a Recruiter in North York (Consumers road and Victoria Park) , ON responsible for managing end-to- end recruitment process including fulfilling current and anticipated staffing needs.

This is a day shift position

Salary- $45k or above (depending upon experience)

Contract position- 3 to 6 months with possibility of extension

This is completely onsite position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Managing end-to- end recruitment process including fulfilling current and anticipated staffing needs by posting job advertisements on platforms such as LinkedIn, indeed, and internal career sites.
- Drafting accurate and engaging job descriptions and post them across various platforms to attract suitable candidates in line with the company’s hiring needs.
- Reviewing internal and external candidate databases to identify suitable applicants. Contacting selected individuals to schedule interviews and facilitated internal movements, including placement and redeployment, as needed.
- Scheduling and coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring smooth communication and timely follow-ups.
- Extending job offers to selected candidates, negotiate salary and benefits when necessary, and ensure successful acceptance.
- Notifying applicants of their interview outcomes and assisting in drafting and sending employment offers to successful candidates.
- Managing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and ensure all candidate records are accurate, updated, and compliant with organizational standards.
- Promoting the company’s brand, culture,



and values during recruitment interactions to position the organization as an employer of choice.
- Contributing to workplace health and safety by managing employee documentation, assisting in opening Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) files, and ensuring proper compliance follow-up when required.
- Maintaining organized and confidential records of job postings, candidate data, interview feedback, and hiring decisions. Where applicable, provided oversight to junior HR support staff in documentation and record-keeping tasks.

- Must have three plus years of experience working in the staffing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a recruiter, talent acquisition specialist, or similar role.
- Familiarity with recruitment tools, ATS, and HR databases.
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques (Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.).
- Understanding of employment laws and best hiring practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Negotiation and persuasion ability.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making mindset.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
