Goodman, Elbassiouni LLP, is a plaintiff-side litigation firm located in Etobicoke. We are looking for an exceptionally talented and energetic Accident Benefits Clerk to support our AB Team. The ideal candidate must work well in a fast-paced environment and take pride in exceeding expectations. Must have a minimum of one to three years of experience as a AB Law Clerk. A law clerk community college diploma or equivalent experience in litigation is an asset.

Job description

- Drafting correspondence to be sent to defense counsel, insurance companies, medical institutions and clients.
- Completing OCF forms according to the Statutory Accident Advantages Schedule (SABS) requirements.
- Communicating with insurance companies
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, insurance adjusters and healthcare providers.
- Reviewing medical documentation and other file contents.
- Drafting LAT applications.
- Direct communication with various counsel and clients.
- Overall daily file maintenance.

The successful candidate/s should possess the following qualifications:





- Minimum 1-3 years of accident benefits experience including working knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) and LAT Process.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced and high-volume practice
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills.
- Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Filevine is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A passion for working within personal injury.
