Duties

- Perform dent repairs using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to restore vehicle bodies to factory standards
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, filling, and masking to ensure smooth finishes
- Apply paint and finishing techniques with precision, ensuring color match and flawless appearance
- Use heavy lifting techniques safely to move vehicle parts or panels during repairs
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged areas to determine the best repair approach
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times




- Collaborate with team members and communicate progress clearly to ensure timely completion of repairs

Experience

- Prior dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred but not required
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle structures, systems, and repair processes essential
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive painting equipment required
- Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
- Mechanic experience or background in automotive repair highly advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive attitude toward learning recent techniques
