Responsibilities

- Assist the orthodontist during traditional braces appointments
- Experience with braces bonding and debonding
- Assist with orthodontic adjustments
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures
- Take and maintain orthodontic records as required
- Assist with wires, brackets, bands and other orthodontic procedures
- Provide chairside assistance and ensure a smooth patient experience
- Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control procedures

Requirements

- Previous orthodontic assisting experience is required
- Hands-on experience with traditional braces
- Must have experience with braces bonding and adjustments
- Strong chairside assisting skills
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Reliable, organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced dental workplace
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule: Wednesday, Friday and Saturday availability preferred.
