The Coast Mountains School District is hiring for a variety of student support positions, including:
- Integrated Child and Youth Peer Support Worker - Hazelton Secondary School
- Education Assistant - Majagaleehl Gali Aks Elementary School (Hazelton)
- Indigenous Support Worker - Mount Elizabeth Secondary School (Kitimat)
- Indigenous Outreach Woker - Mount Elizabeth Secondary School (Kitimat)
- Early Childhood Educators - Ecole Mountainview and Suwilaawks Community Schools (Terrace)
- On call support positions in Terrace, Hazelton and Kitimat
Duties
- Support student in a classroom setting, providing academic, behaviour, emotional and/or cultural supports.
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children in a support capacity
- Indigenous ancestry is required for Indigenous support positions
- Must be located in and eligible to work in Terrace/Kitimat/Hazelton
