About the Role

The air vac excavation labourer is an entry-level position responsible for assisting with the daily operations at job sites.

This role is ideal for someone who:

Key Responsibilities

- Wear all required PPE and safety equipment at all times.
- Assist with the setup and teardown of job sites.
- Prepare trucks and trailers for the day’s work and clean them at the end of each shift.
- Perform daily vehicle circle checks and report any unsafe conditions.
- Immediately report defects or damage to vehicles, equipment, and major tools.
- Ensure trucks and trailers are stocked with the necessary tools and materials for each job.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop, trucks, and trailers.
- Conduct a final site sweep to ensure all tools and equipment are collected and stored properly.
- Support Crew Leaders by ensuring materials and tools are readily available.




- Monitor inventory levels and notify the Crew Leader when supplies are running low.
- Follow all on-site safety procedures and actively participate in tailboard safety meetings.
- Complete all duties assigned by Crew Leaders and Supervisors.
- Take responsibility for your own safety and the safety of your teammates.

Qualifications

Required:

- Valid driver’s license.
- Valid First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.

No previous experience in excavation or electrical work is required. Full training will be provided.
