Overview

Intellimeter Canada Inc., a sub-metering company in Pickering, Ontario, is seeking a reliable Meter Servicer to inspect, repair, test, and calibrate metering equipment. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position (30 hours/week) serving residential and commercial customers across urban and rural areas, including installation, repair, service, and in office customer service. Work is performed outdoors and at heights and is physically demanding.

Tasks

- Inspect products to determine the requirements for repair
- Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power or specially designed tools
- Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning
- Calibrate products using hand tools
- Inspect and test electrical equipment and apparatus
- Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit

Qualifications

- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

- Personal suitability: client focus, excellent oral communication, organized, reliability
