Duties

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and dignity.
- Support clients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, promoting health and well-being.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster social engagement and reduce feelings of isolation.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Help clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to prevent injury.
- Follow care plans meticulously, documenting observations, progress, and any changes in health status for team communication.





Experience

- Previous assisted living or nursing home experience is highly valued.
- Proven experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities enhances your ability to deliver empathetic care.
- Familiarity with dementia care strategies ensures compassionate support for clients experiencing cognitive decline.
- Experience in medication administration and home care settings demonstrates your capability to handle responsibilities safely.
- Strong caregiving skills combined with excellent communication abilities are essential for building trusting relationships.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene is important.
