The Role & Vibe

We are seeking a reliable, communicative, and down-to-earth assistant to serve as both a hands-on operations helper and an energetic sounding board for the founder. If you love local artisans, have a great eye for spatial design, and enjoy bouncing ideas back and forth while prepping for major events, you will thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Team-oriented Prep & Layout: Join site walkthroughs, help measure venue floors, and brainstorm spatial layouts, event themes, and creative marketing ideas alongside the founder.
- Ground Marketing: Distribute physical posters and flyers to local Ottawa and surrounding area shops, cafes, and community boards; set up roadside signs of event weekends.



*You are required to use your own vehicle for this but will be compensated for gas
- Event Day Execution: Work full-day event marathons (8–10 hours) handling and helping with booth tape-down layout, venue setup, welcoming vendors, managing load-in/out, and retrieving roadside signs post-show.

What We Are Looking For

- Excellent Communicator: Open, positive, and collaborative, someone who communicates clearly, brings great energy, and is natural to vibe with.
- Mobile & Reliable: Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for site visits, flyer distribution, and sign placements across Ottawa and surrounding areas.
- Action-Oriented: Physically comfortable lifting setup gear, marking tape lines, and managing on-the-go event logistics.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
