Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and customer service, ensuring that each sandwich is crafted to perfection while providing an exceptional dining experience. This role requires a strong focus on food safety, sanitation, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation standards.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
- Upsell additional items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage time effectively to meet customer demands during peak hours.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash accurately.
- Robust time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
