Working at Heights Instructor - Independent Contractor Position

Transport Training Centres of Canada (TTCC) is the largest Truck and Heavy Equipment Training School in Canada, and we’re looking for experienced Working at Heights Instructors to join our training team on a contract basis.

As a Working at Heights Instructor, you’ll deliver hands-on, safety-focused training that helps students gain the confidence and knowledge they need to work safely at height. If you’re knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about safety, we want to hear from you.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Deliver Working at Heights training in accordance with current regulations and standards.
- Facilitate classroom and practical training sessions.
- Conduct student evaluations (marking and grading).
- Complete accurate and comprehensive student progress reports.
- Promote a positive, qualified, and safety-first learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Valid Working at Heights certification.
- Demonstrated experience delivering Working at Heights training,



gained through extensive recent instruction, completion of an approved Train-the-Trainer program, or co-facilitating approved Working at Heights courses.
- Demonstrated occupational health & safety knowledge through a safety designation, formal education, recent training, or extensive hands-on experience.
- Experience teaching or training adults, supported by formal education, certification, or instructor-level training.
- Knowledge of Working at Heights safety rules, hazards, and fall protection equipment.

COMPENSATION & POSITION DETAILS

- $40/hour
- Contract position
- Flexible scheduling depending on course demand
