In this vital front desk role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, managing appointments, handling inquiries, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Duties

- Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere at all times
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using electronic health record systems such as Epic and Dentrix
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls accurately to appropriate staff members
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes while verifying insurance information and updating medical records
- Maintain organized electronic medical records (EMRs), ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with privacy regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks including billing support, data entry,



and document management
- Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and staff to facilitate seamless clinic operations

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a dental receptionist or medical office receptionist with familiarity in dental or medical office environments
- Strong knowledge of electronic health records systems such as Epic or Dentrix
- Excellent understanding of medical terminology to accurately interpret patient information
- Demonstrated proficiency in office experience including multi-line phone systems and administrative tasks
- Prior experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) is highly desirable
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in managing schedules and records
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patients and team members in a fast-paced setting
