JC Green is a privately-owned licensed producer of recreational and medical cannabis, operated by passionate, educated and experienced staff.

JC Green is looking to fill the position of Processing Technician, who, under the direction of the Packaging Supervisor, will be primarily responsible for packaging, processing and sanitation tasks at our facility located in Thorndale, ON.

Job Duties

- Hand-package dried cannabis and cannabis extracts; complete inspections on materials and finished products, label and fill containers
- Apply excise stamps to finished cannabis products, package product and label finished cases, palletize product for shipment
- Bulk process dried cannabis (debudding, hand trimming, milling, sorting) and complete quality checks as directed
- Maintain accurate documentation for production tasks such as weighing product, quality checks, sanitation and destruction
- Assist in harvest activities such as cutting plants, debudding plants and bulk packaging
- Complete all housekeeping and sanitation tasks including sweeping, mopping, cleaning equipment, and disinfecting work surfaces
- Comply with all hygiene and bio-security requirements




- All other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Clean criminal record check; Health Canada Security Clearance an asset
- Ability to commute to a rural location
- Knowledge of Health Canada Cannabis Regulations and GPP/GMP requirements an asset
- Cannabis trimming and/or manufacturing related experience (preferred)

- Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects up to 50 lbs
