Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Duties

- Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to legal and safety standards
- Counsel patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions

- Maintain meticulous records of medication dispensation and patient interactions
- Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapy as needed under physician guidance
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical terminology standards,



and regulatory requirements
- Assist in inventory management by ordering, storing, and verifying pharmaceutical supplies
- Educate patients and staff on new medications, protocols, and best practices for medication safety

Skills

- Proven experience working as a Pharmacist in a hospital or acute care setting
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Experience caring for diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and other specialized groups
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
- Ability to work efficiently in rapid-paced environments while maintaining accuracy
- Knowledge of pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with pharmaceutical advancements
