**Job Title: Laborer** **Job Description**
Join a dynamic team where you will be responsible for assembling and installing racking systems using a variety of tools.

Your meticulous attention to detail and mechanical skills will ensure the proper installation and maintenance of these systems.

**Responsibilities**

+ Assemble and install racking systems using power drills, impacts, and hand tools.
+ Ensure proper installation by measuring distances between racks.
+ Perform spot quality checks to ensure racks are installed correctly.
+ Drill holes into the steel to attach bolts.
+ Conduct general labor, maintenance, and repairs.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience with hand and power tools.
+ 1 year of general labor experience, preferably in construction.
+ Mechanically inclined with the ability to lift 50lbs.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with racking installation, iron work, scaffolding, apprentice millwright/tech, skilled labor, construction labor, carpentry, or rigging.
+ Experience working at heights.
+ Ability to work independently without constant supervision.

**Work Environment**
Work in a company specializing in integrated material handling and storage solutions with over 40 years of experience in the Canadian warehousing market.

The project spans 6 weeks with a 1st shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Be prepared to arrive on-site by 6:45 AM on your first day.

Personal protective equipment, including hard hats, steel-toe shoes, and safety vests, is required.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Kamloops, BC.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity,



and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Kamloops,BC.
