Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care. This position involves assisting with medication preparation, inventory management, and providing excellent service to patients and healthcare professionals.

Duties

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock, placing orders, and organizing medication supplies.
- Provide support in patient care by answering questions, providing medication information, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients.
- Assist in medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists when necessary.




- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards to maintain a secure working environment.

Skills

- Previous hospital experience is preferred to understand the dynamics of a healthcare setting.
- Pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable for familiarity with pharmacy operations.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Excellent patient care skills to ensure that all patients receive compassionate and professional service.
