We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Inspector to ensure the highest standards of quality in our flooring installations. In this role, you will meticulously examine jobs sites prior to installations to ensure they are ready for our subcontractor crews and conduct post-installation inspections to ensure the highest level of quality for our customers. Your keen eye for detail and strong analysis skills will help maintain product integrity, reduce defects, and uphold our commitment to excellence. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough site inspections to ensure job sites are ready for our subcontractor crews.
- Conduct thorough post-installation quality control inspections to ensure installs are completed and consistent with our company standards and client requirements.
- Collect and document data related to quality metrics, inspection results, and process performance for ongoing analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with install coordinators and service teams to address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, non-conformance reports, and quality assurance documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and defect reduction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or strong interest in quality management.
- Knowledge of building processes with specific knowledge of flooring and tile installations is an asset but not required.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and make informed decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough inspections.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
