Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our busy restaurant team. This role is vital in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, food safety, and teamwork, ensuring our guests receive high-quality meals in a timely manner. Duties

- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals
- Support the cooking team by preparing ingredients and maintaining station cleanliness during meal service
- Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure proper handling of all food items
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including kitchen stations and storage areas
- Assist with restocking supplies and organizing inventory as needed




- Support the overall efficiency of the kitchen by adhering to established procedures and timelines

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and valuable communication abilities
- Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and food safety
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if necessary
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive tasks
