Registered Therapist / Social Worker

Promedicare Wellness Clinic is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Social Worker or Registered Psychotherapist to join our growing multidisciplinary mental health team.

We are looking for a clinician who is qualified, dependable, and comfortable providing evidence-based psychotherapy to adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns.

Position Responsibilities

- Provide individual psychotherapy and counselling to adult clients.
- Conduct clinical interviews and identify appropriate treatment goals.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
- Provide evidence-based interventions, which may include CBT, ACT, DBT-informed, trauma-informed, mindfulness-based, and supportive approaches.
- Support clients experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment difficulties, stress, relationship concerns, and emotional regulation difficulties.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and progress notes.
- Complete treatment reports or correspondence when clinically appropriate.
- Collaborate with psychologists, psychotherapists, rehabilitation professionals, physicians, and other members of the client's treatment team when required.
- Maintain professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and clinic policies.

Qualifications

- Master's degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology, Psychotherapy, or a related mental health field.
- Registered and in valuable standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
- Professional liability insurance.
- Experience providing individual psychotherapy.




- Strong clinical documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with CBT and/or trauma-informed treatment is considered an asset.
- Experience working with clients involved in rehabilitation, disability, workplace, or motor vehicle accident-related treatment is an asset but not required.
