After School Program Director – Part-Time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM–6:30 PM

Black Belt World Canada is looking for a reliable, energetic, and organized After School Program Director to lead our Burlington After School Program.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and is confident taking responsibility for the daily operation of the program. You will help ensure our students are picked up safely from school and have a safe, structured, active, and positive experience at our facility each afternoon.

Responsibilities

- Manage the daily operation of the After School Program
- Supervise students and maintain a safe and positive environment
- Coordinate school pick-ups, drivers, routes, and schedules
- Drive a company vehicle for school pick-ups when needed
- Lead and support After School Program staff
- Communicate with parents, staff, and schools
- Maintain student attendance and daily records
- Organize homework time, games, activities, and structured play
- Assist with martial arts activities and student participation
- Ensure all safety procedures and program policies are followed
- Handle daily issues professionally and communicate concerns to management

Requirements

- ECE (Early Childhood Education) certification required
- Valid Ontario G-Class Driver’s Licence
- Clean Driver’s Abstract




- Must meet company insurance requirements
- Criminal Background Check required
- First Aid Certification required
- Experience working with children
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable leading both children and staff
- Reliable, punctual, responsible, and professional

Compensation

Starting Rate: $20.00/hour

Chance to increase to up to $25.00/hour within 90 days based on performance, reliability, leadership, and ability to successfully manage the program.

What We're Looking For

We want someone who will take ownership of the program and help make sure it runs smoothly every day.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, good with children, comfortable communicating with parents, and able to stay calm and make good decisions in a busy environment.

Previous experience in childcare, after-school programs, camps, recreation, or education is an asset.
