About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced 310S Licensed Automotive Service Technician to join a busy, high-volume automotive service facility in Scarborough, ON.

Role Overview

The Licensed Automotive Technician will perform professional vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs while maintaining a high standard of workmanship, safety, and customer service.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Perform accurate vehicle inspections, diagnostics, estimates, maintenance, and repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and drivability concerns.
- Perform repairs on braking, suspension, steering, drivetrain, HVAC, electrical, and other automotive systems.
- Use computerized diagnostic systems, scan tools, and modern automotive equipment.




- Complete repair orders and vehicle inspection reports.
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations with Service Advisors and management.
- Identify safety concerns and report unsafe vehicles appropriately.
- Perform repairs according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Verify completed repairs and ensure vehicles are operating safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all workplace and Health & Safety requirements.
- Work efficiently in a high-volume automotive service environment while maintaining quality workmanship.

Qualifications

- Valid Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician Licence.
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence.
- Previous professional automotive service experience.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair abilities.
- Knowledge of modern automotive systems and technology.
- Comfortable using computerized diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Canadian Tire Automotive Service Centre experience is an asset.
- COSTAR experience is an asset.
