Our client in Smithville is seeking a Packager for a Pet Food Packaging facility, for a contract role. See below for further details:

Responsibilities:
- Packaging of food products according to company standards and guidelines
- Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of work area
- Follow all food health and safety protocols and guidelines
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment and will be working on the line
- Maintain accurate records of production and packaging activities
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Experience:
- Previous experience in a food processing or packaging role is an asset
- Familiarity with food industry regulations and standards
- Understanding of food safety practices and protocols or willing to learn

Skills:

- Ability to package, and label food products efficiently and accurately
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors





Shift time: Day shift 9AM - 6PM

Pay-rate: $19.50/hour
