Part-time Family Assistant/Nanny – Nanaimo

About Our Family:

We are a friendly, busy family looking for a reliable, caring and organized Family Assistant/Nanny to help support our 3 children (15 year old daughter and 12 year old twin boys).

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with older children and is looking for consistent part-time hours in a positive family workplace.

Hours:

-12-14 hours per week, 2:30-6pm

-Monday-Friday (primarily after school)

-Some flexibility with start and finish times may be available

Responsibilities:

-Pick up children after school (we provide a vehicle).

-Drive children safely to after-school activities

-Prepare lunches for the following school day

-Light household tasks related to the children, such as :

-Tidying the kitchen after meal preparation

-Loading/unloading dishwasher

-Folding laundry

-Keeping backpacks and sports gear organized

We’re Looking for Someone Who Is:

-Warm, dependable and responsible





-Organized and able to manage multiple schedules

-Comfortable driving children to activities

-A safe, confident driver with a valid driver’s license

-Able to work independently and communicate well

Requirements:

-Valid Class 5 driver’s license (not the N or the L)

-Clean driving record

-References required

-Non-smoker

Wage:

-$23 and up, negotiable depending on experience
