Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a dedicated Chiropodist, where you will play a vital role in delivering expert foot and lower limb care to diverse patient populations. Duties

- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ foot and lower limb conditions using medical terminology and clinical best practices
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on pain management, injury prevention, and rehabilitation
- Administer medications and perform minor procedures as authorized within scope of practice
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, including hospital and home care settings
- Collect data related to patient progress, treatment outcomes, and research initiatives to inform best practices




- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner for documentation and medical record management
- Provide patient education on foot health maintenance, injury prevention, and self-care strategies

Experience

- Proven hospital experience working with diverse patient populations in acute care or outpatient settings
- Hands-on experience in pain management techniques specific to foot and lower limb conditions
- Familiarity with pediatric patients (pediatrics) and providing age-appropriate foot care solutions
- Experience with research activities or data collection to support clinical improvements or studies
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to podiatric assessments and treatments
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems such as Epic or Cerner for documentation purposes
- Previous medical office experience involving medication administration, patient care coordination, or home care services is highly desirable
