Our client is looking for a Branch Auditor to support branch-level audit activities across an agricultural retail network in Calgary, Alberta on a Long-term Contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with solid analytical skills, sound judgment, and experience assessing operational controls and compliance.

Responsibilities:
Build relationships with branch teams and leadership throughout audit engagements.
Conduct branch audits from planning through final reporting.
Review inventory, receiving, invoicing, restricted products, and hazardous materials processes.
Test transactions and controls for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Document audit findings and provide practical recommendations.
Present results and recommendations to branch and regional management.
Monitor remediation activities and follow up on outstanding audit issues.
Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, compliance, and operational processes.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Supply Chain, Agriculture, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in internal audit, internal controls, compliance, risk management, public accounting, or a related function.
3+ years of experience with retail operations, operational oversight, or business process monitoring.
Experience testing operational controls and evaluating end-to-end business processes.
Strong organizational, investigative, planning, and report-writing skills.
Confident communicator comfortable working with frontline teams and senior leadership.




Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills; SAP experience is an asset.
Ability to travel extensively, up to 40% of the time.
