This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.

**Job location:** London, ON
**Job Type:** Part-time, 24 hours per week
**Shift(s) Available:** Monday - Friday, Night
**Compensation:** $26.10/hr

**Principal Accountabilities**

+ Ensure that all sanitation standards are exceeded.
+ Ability to work in warm (<30 Celsius) or cold environments (0-4 Celsius)
+ Comfortable working with raw meat; Chicken
+ Able to stand for 8 or 10 hours and complete physically repetitive labour in a fast-paced environment
+ Able to work with chemicals and wear protective personal equipment
+ Detail orientated
+ Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures; and other duties as assigned by supervisors

**Required Qualifications**

+ Legally eligible to work in Canada
+ 18 years or older




+ Able to read, write and comprehend English proficiently
+ Comfortable working with chemicals
+ Able to crouch, bend, twist, kneel and navigate the plant
+ Able to climb ladders and stairs
+ Able to work in indoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc, with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
+ Be familiar with lock out and tag out of equipment during sanitization
+ Able to work in smaller and confined spaces
+ Able to work with large power hoses and facility equipment weighing up to 60lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation
+ Execute day-to-day activities including but not limited to, dis-assembly, cleaning, sanitizing, visually inspecting and reassembly of equipment

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Warehouse experience
