Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our caring team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pharmacy operations, with experience in patient care and medication management. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, maintaining accurate records, and delivering exceptional service to our patients. Your role will be vital in ensuring smooth pharmacy operations while fostering a welcoming environment for all customers.

Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with medical terminology and medication protocols.
- Maintain organized inventory of medications and supplies, including stock replenishment and proper storage procedures.
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering medication guidance, and supporting health-related inquiries with professionalism.
- Prepare labels, documentation,



and medication packaging while adhering to safety standards and legal requirements.
- Support the pharmacy team in administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and processing insurance claims.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate medication administration and patient education when necessary.

Skills

- Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting is highly desirable.
- Proven pharmacy technician experience with knowledge of medication dispensing procedures.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy practice.
- Excellent patient care skills combined with transparent communication abilities.
- Familiarity with medication administration processes and safety protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning within the pharmacy field.
