This position involves coordinating and performing diagnostic ultrasound exams across various modalities. Candidates should possess a comprehensive understanding of general ultrasound and small parts studies; experience in OBS high-risk and echo studies will be advantageous. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute diagnostic ultrasound tests with precision • Document and maintain records of ultrasound results • Work collaboratively in a healthcare team setting • Be available for after-hours on-call shifts • Ensure equipment readiness and accuracy during examinations
Requirements: • Graduation from an accredited Ultrasonography program • Active Sonography Canada membership and CMRITO registration • Preferred current certification in BLS • Strong communication and critical thinking abilities • Active participation in continuing education
