The Associate Vice President(s) of External Affairs will assist the Vice President of External Affairs with managing partnerships with sponsors, suit donors, dry cleaners, and any other companies outside of UBC and Sauder.

Time CommitmentTypically 5 hours per week, up to 10 hours per week in September/January

Term of EmploymentAugust 2026 - April 2027

Main Responsibilities

- Help with outreach to potential sponsors and donors
- Assist with maintaining relationships with dry cleaners
- Support sponsorship process for events by sending emails
- Work with Logistics team to understand event needs

Qualifications

- Organized and dependable
- Effective verbal and written communicator and team worker
- Confident in relationship-building
- Prior sponsorship outreach experience is an asset





Anticipated Learning OutcomesThe Associate Vice President of External Affairs will gain experience in verbal and written communication and sponsorship outreach. This role is outstanding for someone looking to gain confidence in their communication skills for sales, PR or external relations roles.
