Company Description Kaso is a Quebec-based app designed to help families save on groceries while maintaining quality. By using a flyer discount rating system, Kaso makes it easy to identify the best deals and highlight real bargains in grocery stores. The app supports users in planning their shopping with a smart grocery list and aims to reduce the mental load of weekly grocery runs.

Kaso’s mission is to maximize savings and value for every grocery trip while making the experience pleasant and intuitive. Developed in Quebec, Kaso serves as a smart grocery assistant for cost-conscious shoppers.

Role Description The Beta Tester – Software as a Service role is a remote volunteer position focused on testing Kaso’s app features and user experience before public release. Day-to-day tasks include executing test cases, exploring new and existing functionalities, and identifying bugs, usability issues, and performance problems. The beta tester will document findings clearly, provide structured feedback on app quality and user journey, and collaborate with the team through reports and feedback forms.





This role also involves suggesting improvements to workflows, content, and design elements, and verifying that fixes and updates function as intended. We’re getting ready for our next release and need hands-on feedback from real shoppers and mobile enthusiasts to make the experience seamless. What You’ll Do:

- Try out current features, build sample grocery lists, and browse weekly deals.
- Spot bugs, glitches, or confusing UI layouts.
- Share honest, constructive feedback on what works and what could be better.

Qualifications

- An iOS or Android smartphone with an internet connection.
- Someone who shops for groceries (or just loves finding good deals).
- Clear communication in English or French to tell us what went wrong and how to reproduce it.
- No formal QA background required—just curiosity, attention to detail, and a bit of spare time.
- Someone who can identify, reproduce, and clearly describe issues.
- Comfort using mobile apps and web-based Software as a Service platforms.
