RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. Position Summary The Women’s Health Network aims to establish The Institute as a national leader in women’s health research, innovation, and training, aligned with The Institute’s 2030 Vision.

The Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Research Strategy Office within the Division of Research Services and plays a central role in coordinating and sustaining this institutional initiative.

General Duties

- Coordinate implementation of the Women’s Health Network across The Institute
- Manage day-to-day program operations and timelines
- Coordinate lectures, symposia, and educational activities
- Support patient and trainee engagement initiatives
- Collaborate on sex- and gender-disaggregated data infrastructure
- Prepare and review reports, mailers, and communications for the Women’s Health Network
- Collect, compile, and disseminate metrics regarding women’s health research at The Institute




- Coordinate the scientific review (i.e., develop review matrix, identify/coordinate with reviewers) of applications for internal Women’s Health funding competitions
- Work closely with administrative divisions (e.g., Communications, Desjardins Centre for Advanced Training (DCAT), IT, Research Services) and investigators within the research community to realize initiatives within the Women’s Health Network

Education / Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Field of Study: Administration or other related field

Master’s degree is considered an asset.

Work Experience: Requires 2-5 years of experience, preferably in a health science related institution, experience working closely with researchers an asset

Required Skills

- Excellent oral and written communication skills both in French and English,
- Excellent organizational skills,
- Excellent ability to work as a team member,
- Excellent ability to work and perform under tight deadlines,
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Forms), Doodle polls, Canva (or related software), and preferably Adobe and Acrobat Pro,
- Experience coordinating patient and/or community engagement initiatives is an asset.





Additional information Status : Temporary Part-Time, 17.5 hours a week

Pay Scale: $25.01- $46.42/hour. Commensurate with education & work experience.

Work Shift: Variable Schedule. To define with selected candidate

Work Site: Hybrid. Glen, 1001 Rue Decarie
