Job Summary The Employment Specialist is responsible for recruiting, placing, and retaining qualified associates while developing and maintaining strong client relationships. This role combines staffing, customer service, recruitment, and inside sales activities to ensure client staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while consistently achieving performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Placement

- Recruit, interview, and evaluate candidates for client assignments.
- Maintain a qualified talent pool to support current and future staffing needs.
- Coordinate client interviews and job placements.
- Conduct employment verification checks prior to assignment.
- Follow established recruitment and employee selection processes.
- Maintain regular communication with associates to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Client Service & Business Development

- Fill qualified job orders quickly and accurately.
- Gather detailed job requirements and assess order viability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects.
- Conduct weekly client contacts and provide updates on open positions.
- Generate new business opportunities through consultative sales techniques.
- Support appointment setting and lead generation efforts.
- Participate in client visits, safety tours, and marketing events.
- Deliver exceptional service through ongoing quality control and follow-up activities.

Team Collaboration

- Collaborate with sales and recruiting team members to achieve staffing objectives.
- Assist in coordinating recruitment and sales activities.
- Cross-train and support other office functions as business needs require.
- Contribute to a positive team setting through effective communication and collaboration.

Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems.




- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare reports and track recruitment and sales metrics.
- Assist with payroll, billing inquiries, collections, and other administrative duties as needed.
- Continuously develop knowledge of labor market trends, staffing practices, and service offerings.

Education & Experience

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous customer service, recruitment, staffing, sales, or related experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally to client locations.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving goals and performance expectations.

Working Conditions

- Office-based environment with periodic travel to client sites.
- Occasional exposure to various weather conditions during client visits.
- Occasional out-of-town travel may be required.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must have own vehicle

Compensation

- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with a 1 hour break
- Starting salary of $50,000+ (Based on experience)
- 3 weeks vacation
- 5 days of flex days (Sick/personal time off)
- Birthday's off and work anniversary
